I hear chaos calling in the distance
Baring its fangs, looking for someone to feed
Its hungry eyes settle, as it realizes
There's no need

I've the drugs
I've heard of trafficked women
The brutality of legal thugs
And racism that picks the newly healed wound

Advanced along in time have we
But we've lost something of a memory
How did unperturbed unity
Become the chaos that selfishly sings: "me"?

The reckless youth
The greed of the old
Generation that decay without any truth
Oh, what have we become?

Always something I dislike seeing
The decaying congress and foolish presidencies
How such an idealized notion of unity
Is brought before its knees in apathy
