Alone, she walks
Feeling the oceans breath
On her soft skin
And listening to its quiet cry.
Crashing at her feet
She feels its angst
And knows that she cannot change it.
All of her fear
Seeps down through her body
As she stands still
At the oceans wide mouth.
Flooding into the water
She cannot feel anything.

Falling, because her life is gone
Into the sand that holds her.
Her body is caressed,
Safe on the sandy earth.
Every piece of her that was broken
Melted away,
Until every inch of her body is new.
Unable to move or feel
She fell asleep in bliss.
And slowly she became sand
Until the ocean washed away
All her pieces.
