Chapter 1: The Pure Darkness

Climbing up the stone stairs, it felt like the fort wall's post tower reached the sky. Blood poured out of my wounds like a cold bottle of water on a hot day. My black hair matted with sweat and blood. My pants were dyed with dried blood. My hands were tied to a post and my arms were spread out like a T. Two men whipped me on my back whenever I slowed down. They whipped me anyway adding more scars beside my burns, bruises, and cuts.
At the top of the tower was a large hole in the stone walls. The hole was filled with darkness like a liquid palpable. The two men kicked me in forcing me to fall in. I could here there footsteps getting quitter and quitter. I got up and laid myself against a wall by the hole.
From the hot soupy darkness a pair of dark blue eyes glowed. Each eye was the size of my muscular chest. A cool breeze pushed me back towards the dragon, but I didn't budge except I fell to the floor. My death was near and I could feel it. My head became light due to my thirst for blood and water.
The pair of eyes stared at me as I stared back at it. I knew that it knew it wasn't staring at me like a cat would to a mouse. But further than that I couldn't tell what the devious creature had in mind.
My eyes grew heavy after a while. My body became light with my head, this body was not supposed to be alive. I was already supposed to be dead, yet I refused it. But now my body was out of fluid, and my eyes closed once more to a heavy dream.

**********************************DRAGON'S TOWER**********************************

I woke up to the sudden new temperature and pain, I couldn't breathe, my vision was blurry, and my time may have been up this time. There was a weight on my body that was new and cold and like ooze it moved.
Suddenly it ended and I spluttered the liquid rom my nose. It felt like 'water'? My body still ached from the liquid getting into all my wounds.
I looked around and everything was pitch black. I moved onto my slightly less damaged stomach. I tried to move forward and tried to see where the walls were, aside from the one I was laying on. Till suddenly I felt something hard and I was thrown back against the wall and my eyes closed again.

**********************************DRAGON'S TOWER**********************************

I woke to the smell of something like Barbecue. I heard a loud crunching sound in the distance and there was light coming from behind me. I slowly was able to get up. Pain ran itself through my leg back and head. Then suddenly the dark blue eyes were upon me again. I sat back down, now may have been my time to get eaten. Suddenly the eyes moved toward the entrance of the tower.
In front of the light appeared a black dragon, on its hind legs
It's very site was magnificent, it's scales were like ebony and it had small horns creep out from behind the skull. It had ridged on the horns and its fangs were also dark colored by shined. It's wings were 3 times wider than the dragon.
The wings were black but delicate looking and thin like black curtains lit up by the sun.
I was awestruck by the sight, both with fear and just pure awe. This goes a long way.
The blue eyes stared at me and I knew I was in trouble then. But the hunger in my stomach, and the pain across my body, leaved me immobilized. The dragon disappeared from the light and then a cooked cow appeared in front of it. At first I thought I was hallucinating but my body seemed to refuse that thought. Soon I crawled over to the cow and started eating.
After I fed I got up and stared at the darkness.
With all my mite and voice I yelled, two words" Thank you!"
The dragon reappeared in front of me. At first I jumped back, out of shock but it stared at me it's head craned. It moved its head forward to get a better view of me, I could see into its blue eyes, like two sapphires. I put my arm between my face and the dragon's face, and squeezed my eyes shut as I fell to the floor.
With my other hand I tried to push back away from its peering eyes. But it never attacked, I heard a snorting sound but then suddenly there was a large flash of black and the creature disappeared. I looked back and saw it in air flying away.
Time passed as I sat there, nothing happened except for the passing clouds and the chirping of birds nearby.
