I think about him,
More than he'll ever know.
More than he should,
He pops into my head,
And as soon as I begin to forget,
I see his big brown eyes,
His dark hair and baseball cap,
His flannel shirts with tees.
I hear his full belly laugh,
And his little chuckle.
But mostly,
I see his crooked smile,
And glistening eyes,
Always smiling with me.
