The Adulterer's Sonnet
As miserable as a song less skylark
Is the life of an abandoned lover
Like a Whaler in a sea full of sharks
And a scientist with nothing to discover
Became my life the day I married thee,
I wanted you, but now I do, so now
The golden gates of heaven I won't see
Cause last night I laid with a women or cow.
When you came in you screamed and shot her dead.
I wondered why you did not shoot me too.
I smelled her rotting upon our nice bed
For at least a month or for maybe two
Baby could you please now call the police
Or go to the store and buy new sheets?
