As the longest summer fades,

The glimmering winter cascades,

A man of summer with the woman of winter,

Their pasts a block; frozen to splinter.

That day we met; a sight to see,

The way his eyes gazed down to me.

A horizon of blue protected by lashes,

My heart so burned; a sea of ashes.

I am winter although touched by sun,

A sensual breeze for my mind to run.

A kiss of light to the deepest of 'du',

My eyes; the hills for him to see.

The grass is thawing and the ground is bare,

He repairs me; it's us as a pair.
