Prologue:

A anti-social butterfly Native American-American; a Chinese girl with no concept on which she is really she; a Scottish man with a bad habit of murdering in his sleep; what could possibly go wrong here? That's right: EVERYTHING! Especially in an abandoned, haunted Scottish castle turned into a mental institution.

Madame Annette Brooklyn of Great Britain takes control of the Castle Fraser- our story setting- and turns it into a mental institution so she may save those who have mental disorders. When she was seventeen, she had the mental institution up and running until 1933, when everything went downhill. It was not because of a bad budget or her leadership skills. No, it was a harsh reality to take care of mentally unstable citizens.

Our heroine is sent to the institution in 1932, when the Great Depression was hitting America hard. Her parents had no way of supporting her, or her condition- Social Anxiety Disorder (intense fear in social situations causing considerable distress and impaired ability to function in at least some parts of daily life). If you think she is the only one to come out of this alive, then you're right; except there is no way she has a love interest. No, she is not lesbian! She just doesn't have the… skill to talk to men.

Our villain is sent to the institution in 1932, after her parents are murdered. The government's social system sends her to the institution so that they won't have to deal with her identity crisis. She has Dissociative Identity Disorder (a mental disorder characterized by at least two distinct and relatively enduring identities or dissociated personality states that alternately control a person's behavior, and is accompanied by memory impairment for important information not explained by ordinary forgetfulness). She finds it difficult to get along with people and manipulates the caretaker into falling for her and murders Annette to get her out of the way.

Our main male is the Scottish caretaker of the institution with a sleeping disorder we all know as sleepwalking. But in very extreme cases, like the caretaker's, the disorder causes the person to murder in their sleep. Most of the time, he is a very nice and naïve man; only his naïve nature causes him to get in trouble because of our villain. He gets his mind straight and is Annette's right hand man.

Now, this is just some information to get ya'll started on this story and have some background information on our characters. Now, let's really get started.
