Demon's Mirror

Mirror, Mirror on the wall,
Why did you force me to fall?
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Why did I deserve your call?

I looked into the mirror and what did I see?
I saw a stranger who looked a lot like me.
There were few differences that set us aside,
But I could tell my soul could not be found inside.

The mirror held a person with crimson eyes,
A being with sharp teeth that can cause your demise.
Mirror, mirror, why did you show that creature to me?
Mirror, mirror, is that what I was supposed to be?

The demon indicated that I should come nearer,
I shifted closer to get a better look at the mirror.
The demon grabbed a hold of my face with its rough hand,
It pulled me into the mirror and into another land.

I looked around and saw nothing but pure black,
I felt a pointed nail jab into my back.
I turned around and what I saw brought me great fear,
I saw a gruesome monster grinning from ear to ear.

It put its clawed hand right over my beating heart,
And I felt like my insides were being torn apart.
I watched something leave my body, a strange white mist,
I watched as another me came to exist.

This image of me looked weak and started to sway,
I watched as it broke apart and crumbled away.
The demon walked over to me and made a strange sound,
I was suddenly falling because there was no ground.

I looked and noticed that I was trapped in a small cell,
I felt pain engulf me and knew I was now in hell.

Mirror, Mirror on the wall,
Why did you force me to fall?
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Why did I deserve your call?
