As I stand, he is there to protect me.

And as I try them out, like a newborn fawn, he is there to help me.

And as I talk, wasting my breath, he is there to listen.

And as I rest, at the end of the day, he is there to watch me.

And as I sit, he sits with me.

As I cry, he is there to comfort me.

As I laugh, he is there to share my smile.

As I look at him, he is there, to stare back at me.

And as I lean forward, he is there to kiss me.
