I'm not sure about this. It just sort of came to me and was one of those things I had to write down... Anyway, enjoy! Please Read & Review :D thanks
She screamed. Unbearable pain.
Her love had sung her a beautiful song. 'The Power of Love' by Frankie goes to Hollywood. Her favourite line was this: 'With my undying, death-defying love for you'. He had meant those words. He had meant every word in that song. Apart from one line. For of course, to be with her he could not keep the vampires from her door. Because he was a vampire himself.
At the end of the song, he had leaned in to kiss her. He had breathed in her scent and lost control. She didn't know that he was a vampire. At least, not until he had plunged his razor sharp fangs into her neck. He hadn't wanted to do it. He was just so hungry... And ever since he had met her, he had yearned for the taste of her blood on his lips.
Her body fell limp in his arms. For her, the before excruciating pain had gradually become pleasant. She tried to pull him closer, but he dragged himself away.
'No.' he whispered, reaching over to place two icy-cold fingers on the side of her neck. Feeling for a pulse. She was alive. Barely. He cradled her delicate body in his arms and let his tears flow freely. Some got into his mouth. Choking him. He didn't care. Not anymore. She would die. Become a vampire like him. And although they would be able to be together forever and he wouldn't have to break her heart to hide his secret, he was terrified of losing her warm touch.
He gently rocked back and forth, squeezing her up against his chest. Her heart stopped. He collapsed over her. Murmuring softly in her ear.
'Sorry, sorry, I'm so sorry. Oh Emma. What have I done? Emma, my love, I am so sorry. So, so, so, so sorry. I love you so much. Why? What have I done? What did we do to deserve this? Emma, Emma, Emma, I love you so much. Please forgive me. But how can you?'
Her eyes fluttered open. Vampire eyes. 'Daniel?' she sobbed, reaching for him.
And they held eachother for what seemed like eternity.
For their love was undying - death-defying.
