Alana sighed and grabbed her duffle bag. She walked out of her house and strapped the duffle bag onto her Motorcycle. She went back inside and grabbed her helmet and her leather riding jacket. She slipped on the jacket and went to say goodbye to her parents.
"Keep your damn self out of trouble" Her dad told her. She nodded and waved goodbye to her mother and quickly went outside. She pulled on her helmet and straddled her bike. She kick started the bike and revved the engine and sped out of the driveway.
She took the turns and twists sharply, leaning with her bike as she went. The wind whipped her hair around her face and the biked purred as she rode it.
A few miles later, she pulled up to the gates of the Boarding School and hit the button. She flashed her student ID at the camera and the gates opened. She rode up the drive and turned into the parking lot. She parked her bike and shut it off. She climbed off of it and yanked her helmet off, shaking her hair out and looked around. A lot of eyes were on here, but she ignored it. She unstrapped her duffle bag and tossed it over her shoulder and marched towards the Registry office.
She signed all of the papers the woman in the office gave her, and then she was handed her schedule, map of the campus and a welcome pamphlet.
Alanis stared at the map for a few moments and then headed towards her dorm. It was about 15 minutes away from the quad on campus.
When she walked in her dorm, she noticed that it had two rooms, a living room area and a kitchen. It was like an apartment.
She shrugged and took the room on the right. She tossed her bag on the bed and her helmet on the floor.
She heard the front door open and walked out of her room, only to be greeted by a girl with blonde hair and a big smile.
"Hi, you must be Alana! I'm Amy, your roommate" The girl said, holding her hand out and slightly bouncing on the balls of her feet.
"It's nice to meet you" But really, Alana wasn't so sure. The girl seemed super perky and she just didn't know if they would actually make it through the year without Alanis smacking her with something.
The girls parted ways. Amy bouncing out of the dorm and Alanis went to the quad.
Alanis had her map in hand, because like hell she was gonna get lost here. She'd never find her way back to her dorm.
She was wandering around, looking at some of the stores they had on Campus. Yeah, you heard right, STORES. Hell, there was a mall too. She snorted at that one.
She slammed into something hard, and went crashing to the ground.
"Oh mother fu-"
"Woah, are you okay?" Someone asked, holding their hand out in front of them.
"Yeah, just peachy. Thank you for bruising my ass, ya dick." She snapped at the guy, standing up and rubbing her ass.
"Sorry, it was an accident" The guy apologized.
"Next time, watch where you're going" She snapped.
"Look, I said sorry. Now, what's your name? I'm Connor" He held his hand out. She raised an eyebrow and snorted. "Wow, something bit your ass, huh?"
"Who the hell do you think you are?" She demanded.
"I'm Connor Keadan." He grinned. She resisted the urge to roll her eyes.
"Alanis" She said, crossing her arms.
"Why so moody?" He asked her, not deterred by her rudeness.
"I don't know, maybe because my ass hurts" She snapped.
He laughed, and she grudgingly admitted to herself that he wasn't so bad, and he didn't have one of those obnoxious laughs that a lot of boys do. "I'm sorry about your ass…I can kiss it and make it better?" He smirked.
"Sorry buddy, not on your life" She smirked, and turned around, and walked away.
