Silence

Sometimes, silence is not golden.

Silence is silver like the coldest of rings and the warmest of eyes. Silence is deafening like your ears are blocked and silence is noisier than the loudest of cacophonies. Silence is the murky fog that drowns all words and the clearest tears that reveals the true answer. Silence is hesitation and silence is progression. Silence is empty yet silence fills. Silence are the unspoken words and the unseen scars but it's the comfortable bond and the trust they place in each other. It is the essence of one-sided conversations, but alas, is the group as a whole. It is darkness that is spiraling downdowndown and the light that's too brightbrightbright and it's a hole in my heart but it's the peace that fills it–

Perhaps silence is only the sound of silence.
