You muttered those three simple words,
"I love you," you told her,
Her answer left you frozen as if cut by hundreds of ice swords,
And the world suddenly felt like it was all one big blur.
She never 'loved' you,
And never would,
She told you that it'd never been true,
You hated that you didn't hate her as you should.
You watched her as she walked away,
Left you alone at an empty table,
Left you in the broad of day,
Left you in tears, and so unstable.
Now you've finally let go,
And decided to take life slow.
