A/N: I wrote this in my Creative Writing I class last year and just rediscovered it. I hate poetry to be honest, but I kinda liked this one. So of course my first instinct was to upload it, haha.

Into the Recesses

In a dark void there lies

many thoughts swirling.

Free from duty or personal ties,

they are frothing and curling.

With zero constraints

the thoughts lie in wait

to be labeled as neither sinners or saints,

just lay dormant until an undetermined fate.

Sometimes dark but sometimes light,

no conscience but no will,

with varying degrees of might,

they nag, shout and won't sit still.

There is a place within the mind

where there's no room for the human kind.

Hope you liked it, and please review :)
