Why Burn the Ruins

This city once stood
thriving with dignity,
senselessness unheard
and far from bigotry.

A citizen looked up
and the sight was vile.
The sun forewarned
of a sickening exile.

The utopian friends
drove forward a stigma
that one would burn
under evils of a big sun.

The light broke through
and revealed the truth,
dastards and bastards
freed from any ruth.

Morale is now tarnished,
screw the city's name!
Let us conquer the world
and deliver our disdain.

These ruins stand for nothing,
why burn them from the sky down?
Heaven is too busy
watching over sound towns.

This city once stood
on honorable codes.
Don't waste your fire.
There are far better abodes.
