"What are you up too little one?" my eyes didn't even glance up at the sound of his voice. I stared at the blank screen, the vast whiteness making me want to hurl. My fingers hovered over the keyboard.

"Fucking Writing! And don't call me that." I felt the bed shift under his weight. "Sorry short stack. I though you loved writing." I blinked. I did love writing. I was totally obsessed with it. But not with the blank page in front of me.

"Do you know how to write about the first time someone said I love you? In 6 pages?" I groaned and threw my head back on the pillow. "What are you doing here anyway Jack" he let out a laugh.

"My water was turned off. I needed a shower." My eyes slowly rose up and looked at him. His dirty blonde hair was still wet, and he hadn't shaved in a few days. My eyes traveled down. He was shirtless, and beads of water where dripping down his skin. My gaze went down further, and he was only is a friggen towel.

"For Christ's sakes Jack, put on some pants." he chuckled and got off my bed, and stretched, walking back toward the bathroom.

"Does that request require a shirt as well." he winked at me and disappeared into my joint bathroom. I closed my eyes, and tried to think of anything, simply a character, a flaw, a breath, something that could get the story moving. Jack came out whistling, his dark was jeans very low, and his jean colored v neck showing off his well toned body.

"'Wanna come to my skiing lodge this weekend." it was like a light bulb went off.

"Oh Jack, your wonderful" I said, my fingers flying over the keyboard. The setting melted onto the page, and characters names and quirks formed on my finger tips. The speed slowed down, and came to a stop. "Shit! Jack you suck" I said saving the scraps of the snippet I had created. He had lay down and now looked at me upside down.

"You know most normal people stop at wonderful." I kicked his shoulder and sighed, at a loss again. "What's up Karen" he said, pulling his long body up toward mine. Our hips touched, but his legs went down a lot more inches than mine.

"I can't do it. I'm going to fail because I can't right a simple story about a young couple in love." I was so dang emotional, and I hated it. I rested my head on his shoulder.

"You know kk" he said a matter a factly, "I know you can do it. You just need some inspiration. And a break." he started to play with my hair. "I'm going to talk randomly; you just zone out, and see if I can do it. I'm going to be stupid, and ask dumb questions." I nodded, and held my hands over the key board. "You look nice today. I like your lips. Your hair is pink, yes you may lick my abs. "he rambled on and on, but nothing came to me. I had zoned him out, and was imagining the scene, trying to make the people real. "You want pizza for dinner?" I heard him say. "Yes" my mouth acted out of its own accord. For some reason my fingers typed about old pizza boxes in the corner from where they had shared their dinner."Do you want you get away from this crazy college life for the weekend." His hand was still playing with my hair. "Sure." the words college and get away erupted onto the page. He continued with the questions, each time my mouth forming some synonym of yes. The words grew, and some part of the story developed. "You wanna go make out and get weird after you finish this?" my fingers froze, and my mouth stopped itself. I turned to him, and glared.

"You're an ass." I said, slapping him.

"I thought you were in Karen's writing world. Didn't hurt to ask did, love." my breath stopped.

"Holy God, Jack your perfect." he gave me a confused look. "I knew I am, how far have you gotten." I jumped up and gave him the computer. "You look. Its bout a page and half so far. Get acquainted with the guy Luke." I ran out off the bed, and over to my closet. I knew he had a left a shirt over here once, and I had taken it, so I could use it as a sleep shirt. I pulled of my jeans and shirt, and tugged his over myself. It came down nearly to my thighs and I smiled. I ran into the bathroom and let my hair down, trying to get it semi similar to my characters. I smiled into the mirror, and pulled the shirt a bit lower.

"Jack, do you wanna help me?" I called my heart racing.

"Sure, Shorty. What do you need me to do?" I walked out of the bathroom and closed my eyes. "Do you want to pretend to be Luke?"

I had the laptop situated on the desk next to me. I bit my lip.

"Are you sure. We don't have to do this." he looked down at me, and tossed his shirt.

"Yes we do. If live action can help your writers block, I'm game. So what does the extremely attractive boyfriend need to do?" I stretched under the covers and closed my eyes.

"You just brought me my tea, so it's up to you. Its morning, were in a cute little mountain lodge, and just by the end, you have to tell me you love Me." he nodded.

"Right so, tea. And me. Let's do this." he crawled into the bed next to me. I nuzzled my head into his chest. I took a deep breath. "How I'm doing" he whispered. I giggled.

"Your doing great." he wrapped his arms around me a pulled me closer. "Can we just stay here forever?" I said, trying to get into character.

"Hmmmm" he hummed, his whole body rumbling against mine. I pulled myself closer to him. He smelled of fresh rain, and had an undertone of axe on his skin.

"Lukeā€¦"

"Call me Jack." I hit his shoulder.

"Your name is Luke"

"My name is Jack." I sat up and glared at him.

"Your name is Luke, and my name is Tessa." he pulled me down next to him, and pushed a piece of my hair behind my ear.

"No. Your Name is Karen, and my name is Jack. Luke is my middle name. I've been lying to you for months." I sighed, and my breath rumpled his hair.

"I hate you" I mumbled, but he just placed his hands on my thighs and pulled me even closer, causing me to squeak.

"If you hated me Tessa, we wouldn't be in the same bed, nor would you be in nothing but my shirt." I stared at him with wide eyes, and then jumped up and pulled my computer down to me. The scene began to unfold, a kiss stolen here or there, a simple conversation beginning, Luke being a smart ass just like my smart ass who was now stroking my back. I sighed as my roll slowed, and I fell back down, so I was lying on top of him. He gave me an amused look.

"I quiet like this predicament" he said, his hands drawing patterns on my back.

"Don't say predicament," I said, letting my head fall to his chest. "It makes it seem like we are in a compromising position." he chuckled, and I felt his hands slowly move down my bare legs.

"And what type of position would you call this, if not compromising." I felt myself heat up and banged my head against his skin.

"Shut up" I mumbled into his bare chest, my lips barely touching him. But he stiffened.

"What did you say" he said, one of his hands tangling themselves in my hair. I repeated the word, lower this time. I felt his heart speed up next to my ear. I tried to ignore it. I had a writer's mind, so I tried to spin a story out of someone's tone of breath.

"Stop thinking." I heard Jack say, but I couldn't tell who he was trying to be.

"Hmmmm" I closed my eyes a breathed him in. He pulled my face up and stared deep into my eyes.

"Relax a little beautiful, so stop thinking and enjoy the moment. And I'll promise to try and make this day last forever." Luke. He was talking as Luke. For some reason I felt my heart fall to the ground. Tessa was one lucky girl. We kept talking, moving into various different positions, yet always sure we weren't too close or too much. I was lying on my back, and he was lying on top of me, his hips touching mine, while he supported himself on his forearms. My fingers played along his veins that showed on his arms. He rested his head on mine. "This is getting ridiculous" I tried to smile, but I felt myself dying on the inside. Best friend my mind screamed at me. He rolled off me and walked around the room. His jeans were so low I could see the beginning of his boxers. His vlines dipped into his jeans, and traced my eyes up his body. I sat up and ran a hand through my hair.

"I'm sorry, Jack" I said, and I stretched myself along the bed and onto the floor, trying to reach his shirt. I felt the fabric on my skin flutter down, reveling way past my stomach. I fell to the floor with a thump. "We can order pizza now if you would like." I pulled the shirt back into a safer place, and flipped my hair back. I tossed him the shirt. He glanced at it and threw it back on the floor. He fell to his knees and started to crawl toward me.

"Who said this was over" he said, his hands crawling up my legs now.

"You said ridiculous" I whispered, my head falling back against the bed side drawer. He placed his lips on my neck.

"I meant the fact that I didn't know whether or not kissing you was in the contract of this association." he placed an open mouthed kiss on my throat. I gasped.

"Stop using big words. And I said do whatever you think would help." he pulled me into his lap, and stood up, forcing me to wrap my legs around him, and his grip to tighten around me. We fell onto the bed, and he stared at my lips.

"Luke wants to kiss Tessa, and that's what Luke is going to do." his lips pressed softly into mine, and I rose up to meet his lips. I felt him smirk into my skin, before he pressed into me with such power, I nearly forgot how to think. His lips explored mine, while his hands wrapped around my back and pulled me too him.

"Christ" he said, moving down to kiss the skin off my neck. I was breathing hard, and I pushed him off me.

"One moment" I said, and my fingers moved over the key board, recalling what had happened, and embellishing little details. I turned back to him, and I sat on top of him, and brought my lips down to his. I moved my lips slowly, my hands getting lost in his hair. I pushed myself closer to him and I felt him groan. I slowed the kiss, removing the hunger, and giving the air of the room a lighter, more loving than lusting feel. His lips moved down my throat and kissed my pulse. I was breathless, and going crazy. I jumped up and ran off the bed. I pressed my hand to my forehead, and I felt tears staring to sting my eyes.

"Karen" Jack placed his hand on my shoulder, but I kept my back to him.

"I can't do this" I screamed, the tears freely falling now. "I can't pretend that kissing you didn't give me butterflies, or the way you looked at didn't make me want to melt into your side." I let my hand fall to the wall and took a deep breath.

"Karen, you could kiss me like that whenever you like." I had to laugh because even though I was screaming at him, he tried to lighten the mood. I turned to him, and I saw my hands were shaking.

"I can't be a friends with benefits either, Jack." my voice sounded raw. I couldn't look him in the face and I went to turn, but I felt two arms wrap around me and pull into him so tightly I nearly forgot how to breathe. My head was in his chest. His head rested on my shoulder and he rocked me back and forth slowly.

"We can be friend for now. Me and you are not the ideal people for rushing into things." he chuckled, and I felt his start to sway me around.

"There's no music dope" I said, but let him lead me around the room.

"Who needs music, when we have heart beats" I glanced up at him.

"When did you get all philosophical?" I pulled away from him slightly, so get a better look at him.

"Since you started making me watch chick flicks."

Jack stuffed another slice of pizza in his mouth as I typed out the last words in the sixth page. He swallowed ad took the computer from me, his eyes taking in the words, a small smile finding its way to his face.

"That's really good, K" he passed me a slice and took a sip of soda. I was still in his shirt, but I now had on a pair of jeans, and he had pulled back on his shirt. There was a football game on the T.V, and I had finished the dang story. "So, Ski lodge, next weekend, I'll pay." he said his hands now playing with my hair.

"Whose coming" he took out his phone.

"Me, You, Katie, and Harry. And probably Liz and Brian, and whoever else decided to tag along."

"Sure, why not. " He smiled at me and stood up. He stretched, his shirt rising up above his pant line, showing off his skin.

"I think its best I go now, get some shut eye before class tomorrow." I smiled sadly and walked over to the door. He moved to place a kiss on my cheek. I felt my skin heat up, but tried to hide it.

"I'll see you tomorrow Jack." I said, and went to print out my story.

Friday

"The snow fell to the ground, the light hitting it and making the room seems so much brighter than it actually was. I felt Luke's arm wrap around my waist, and he pulled me closer to him. My eyes drooped. I felt his lips nudge my ear slightly. 'I love you Tessa' he whispered, just as my brain was about to shut off. I twisted so I was facing him. He kissed my forehead. 'I love you too' our breaths evened out, and the world went dark. Those words had never felt truer than in that moment." I looked up from the page, and the whole class stared at me. My teacher gave me approving look.

"Any criticism for our dear Karen," he said, taking a sip from his coffee. A girl in the back of my class spoke up.

"The realism was amazing"

"It felt like I was watching a movie. I never thought such a simple scene could be so intricate." other students chimed in, and I quickly scribbled down notes so I could improve. The teacher dismissed us, and I walked out of class.

"Please tell me you did great." I spun and Jack was there resting on the door jam, his hair still a mess, but he had shaved, leaving him smooth faced. He had rolled up his sleeves so they rested half way down his arm. I smiled like a little kid, showing all my teeth and squinting my eyes. I showed him the top page. "The realism was incredible" he gave a small laugh. He threw his arm around me and we started to walk toward my dorm.

" What time are we leaving for the lodge" I said, slipping into my room and flicking on the lights. I heard Jack kick the door shut, and I felt myself being pressed against the wall. He licked his lips.

"I lied." he said simply, looking straight into my eyes.

"About what" I gave him a confused look, and dropped my bag to the floor.

"Not being ideal people for rushing into things, I say fuck it." his head was moving closer to mine.

"Appropriate use of the word fuck, but I'm still confused." he groaned, and ran a hand through his hair.

"Screw it" he mumbled under his breath and then his lips pressed into mine. Without thinking I kissed him back. Then I pushed him back.

"The story is over" I said, my voice shaking.

"Luke and Tessa's are. But Karen, you can't fake the chemistry we have." I clenched my fists.

"I hated chemistry in High School." I said. He chuckled.

"Lucky for you, it was my best subject." I laughed and then stood on my tiptoes to kiss him.

"Are you sure about this" I said, letting my back hit the wall. Jack's arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me closer.

"Never been more sure in my life." his lips pressed into mine again.

We packed the trucks with all of our bags and I checked to make sure I had all my homework. I had called shot gun, and Jack was driving. Everyone else piled into the back and Jack came around and opened the door for me. I jumped up onto the ledge and went to climb into the car. Jack's hand caught m waist and spun me around to him.

"By the way, beautiful" he said, placing a kiss on my cheek, "We get to share a room." he winked and climbed around to the driver's side. A blush heated my face, and I stared out the window. This weekend was going to be fun.
