People don't hear you screaming underwater.

No matter how loud, it still won't make a sound

Kick and scream and shout,

-no one will pull you out-

Or remain silent and let it pull you down

in the darkest, deepest depths and you'll drown.

It's a slow and painful death,

Leaves you choking and gasping for breath.

With one last hope, you fight the lull,

As you float past the ship's hull.

The ship is sinking, no help to come,

The water rushes in, the world goes numb.

It's too late to swim away now

It's too late, no one's going to listen

It's too late, I'm dead, but how?

I let the water crush me and society takes a bow.
