A soft cry is heard
From a mother's arms.
As a joyful being
Is brought into such a world.
Speaking softly, of love's first words
A bond that will never be

A teenager's first kiss
Begins with a gentle touch.
Her heart falling through the seams,
Into another person's arms.
But as the wrong move is surely made,
Her heart's bond will be

An adult now, off on her own.
Finding a man to surely
Take true care of her soul,
And will never let her go.
So with the person of her dreams
She finds another bond to never be
