Ostensibly, I was just going to a rendezvous with my latest client, Ryan Young, to discuss some incriminating evidence I had found indicating the opposing side of our case as being guilty. After a long time of ferocious and indefatigable investigating, I was more than thrilled to finally have a break in the perplexity of the case. At long last, the infamous leader of a contingent of drug dealers had made a mistake, leaving the pompous man a step closer to taking up residence in the cinderblock hotel. And I wasn't about to dawdle in getting him there.
Really short, I know. I wrote this for an English assignment and decided to post it as a side-story of sorts for a novel I hope to write, which, for right now, is entitled "Becoming Annie York." Jake Wilde is a side character in that story.
Please review! Thanks!:)
