A star fades out of the sky

Once brightly shining,

Hidden behind the likes of the belt of Orion

It's meager voice called out to all who would listen

But it was never heard.

It took its quest to the pen

Writing down its feelings

And they were torn asunder

By a supernova of knowledge claimed

Meek and alone

Bruised to the bone

It faded.

Until It was gone

The supernova had know knowledge of what

It had done.

Until one day he glanced in the sky

And could no longer see

That star

Hidden behind the belt of Orion.

Sometimes the things we miss most

Matter not until they're gone.

We Open our hearts and our voices

And sometimes words come out cruel

Without intention.

Perhaps one day

That star will shine again.
