"Oh my gosh! Where have you been?" I was very flustered. I mean it's not every day that you sit around moping about your godly boyfriend, just to have him appear in front of you five minutes later!

"Hera has been keeping us from the Earth."

"Why would she do that? She's nice! We worshipped her!" I couldn't get a grip on it. I brought Hera sacrifices as often as I had brought ones for Hermes, so why had she ripped the gods from the face of the Earth?

"Because she found out."

"Found out about what?"

"She found out about how I love you! And she's been keeping me from seeing you this whole time, and I missed you so much!" At this point he stepped forward and encircled me in a hug that was so meaningful and so filled with love, that I honestly didn't know what to say. Should I apologize for doubting his love? Should I tell him that I loved him too? I didn't know, so instead I asked.

"How did you get here?"

"Well you will find that when Dionysius is drunk, so almost always, he will do anything for another bottle of wine." He smiled, mischievously, a familiar glint in his eyes. I smiled back, I didn't ever think that his trickery would lead to something wonderful like this.

He turned around and grabbed my hand, dragging me behind him.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Away from here, we can't stay because Hera will find us. I'd be surprised if she didn't already know that I'm gone. She could swoop down on us at any moment. Therefore we need to get moving." I listened to this statement, flabbergasted. Did he expect me to just leave me family? My parents might be dead, but I still watched my little sister.

"Well what about little Emily? We have to go get her if we are going to leave."

"I know, I know. We're heading back that way now." Heading back towards my house? No, we were going the wrong way. And then I realized that he had turned us around and we were actually heading back towards my house.

We were at the street about ten minutes later, but there was strange smell in the air. It was just like…

"Smoke! Emily!" I took off down the street, a winding lane that my parents had loved so much. Then I saw the flames, licking the sides of my childhood home. I had just started towards it when….Crash! The whole building caved in on itself, with Emily still inside.
