A rose made out of glass

A heart made out of brass

Melt it down and make it gold

Turn it slow, the bible told

Past bearings hit the roof

Beyond a measure of His proof

There were secrets buried in the ground

Secrets worth more never found

Dig them up, and help her out

Shake her world past the doubt

That living will truly make her proud

Their laughter will never be so loud

That day she whispers in her mind

That this, this will be the day

The pain and disasters she will grind

Into dirt and grit, add more to it

And watch it die and be replaced

By a happiness that will never be erased

When you finally give your heart away

To Him and His caring hands all day
