Meditation:

Yellow dunes highlighted orange

Sea of sand

I sit between the earth and the sky

My mind drifts between realities

I feel myself levitate

The body that I inhabit is a vessel trapped on the ground

Its limitations increasingly frustrating

My mind, O my mind

It can travel anywhere

The only limit is what I can think

I look up and see the stars behind the veil

The tree an ever-vivid shade of green,

Stands out against the primaries

The soul of the tree speaks to me

I feel its solitude

Its stagnant life

Yet I complain about my vessel

One that can move and perform

The tree complains of nothing and wants of nothing

It accepts what God gives it

So must I
