Take me home

I am lost

I have wondered away

And I can't seem to find my way back

I just want to go back to the house of yesterday

But the road of today is all I see

In front of me

And behind me

Taunting me with its cement grin

The white streaks of ghosts on the concrete

They haunt me with tears of truth

Sweet naïveness flowered the glorious place that I once lived

And I was warned about the dangers of nomadic life

But this nostalgia is more than nostalgia

It's homesickness

That grows and grows

With each step I take

Further from my house
