The world seems to darken every day.
And innocence has long since been a tangible concept.
All the trees seem to be barren,
And the sidewalk is shattered.
It brings tears to my eyes,
To accept this desolate world that I am entering.
To leave behind my childhood fantasies of 'true love,'
And 'happy ever after'.
But I can't stop walking, can I?
So I look up to the shaded sky,
And I see the sun.
