I took my vows
Upon one knee did I speak
oaths softly spoken
promises confidently made
To she, my Queen,
I swore my loyalty.
I swore my strength, to be Her blade.
I swore my body, to be Her shield.
I swore my eyes, to ever watch over Her kingdom.
I swore my lips, ne'er to speak treachery or bring Her shame.
I swore my breath, Hers to the last.
I swore my blood, only to come forth in Her name.
I swore my voice, to only call the name of Her kingdom.
I swore my life, to end on her whim.
But of all the things that I did swear
There was but one thing I could not swear
And though she may never know-
That one thing is mine to give or keep.
