Trust.
It's the most important thing in life. Without trust, you have nothing. You can't have love without trust. It all comes down to that one little thing that is so difficult to gain and so easy to lose. The most painful part of trust is…. Once you've lost it, it's gone for good.
I'm not a hateful person, I'm really not. But I trusted you even though my whole being told me not to. I knew I shouldn't let you into my heart; I should've stopped it all when I had the chance. But I wanted to love and be loved. You told me you loved me and I trusted you. It turned out it wasn't love. Because there was no trust from your part; and why should you trust me if you knew what you were going to do? If you know you're using somebody then you don't need to trust them. You just need to gain their trust.
But the worst part of it wasn't that you betrayed my trust. The worst part was that you kept leading me on. I guess everybody's playing the game, everybody but me.
You knew he was going to come, didn't you? You knew what was going to happen, didn't you? You knew he carried a gun, didn't you? You sacrificed me because you knew I would try to help you, didn't you? What you didn't know was that I survived it. What you didn't know was that you will pay for what you did. What you didn't know was that it all comes down to trust.
A/N: Something I threw together just because of the fun of it. Hopefully there are people out there who'll enjoy it.
