Lost and Found

Stuck in endless ecliptic motion,

cycling back into the ocean.

Portrayed as a place of void and rot,

but maybe not the prison I once thought.

The solitude brings peace to me,

I'm too damn tired to strike a worthless plea.

I don't care enough to let you in,

It's safer to stay trapped within.

Normal thinking has been transcended,

forget those on which I depended.

I've been abandoned to fend,

Seems it became a trend.

I never needed you anyway,

If anything I've been saved.

You have only set me free,

To roam this unending sea,

Beckons me…

Like a key…

That sets me free.
