You'd never known a heart so pure and bright,
a sweet, young child, her eyes alight.
You watched her grow up from age one to two then three.
Now she's in kindergarten learning her ABC's.

Her parents are together, the family big and full
never did she imagine, that life could actually be dull.
The teacher says she's intelligent; she was the first to write her name.
Everyday is an adventure, a different kind of game.

You'd never known a heart so full of mischief,
every single question beginning with "What if..."
She aims to please her teachers; she tries her hardest to be good.
And she carries around her innocence, as only a ten year old could.

Her sister has moved out to somewhere far away,
but she's still got the rest of her family - everything will be okay.
Tears are cried only when parents raise their voices
or when - pink or blue? - faced with stupid, trivial choices.

You'd never known a heart so full of madness,
now she's a teenager driving the adults to madness.
First day of middle school, she doesn't know what to think.
The chaos, the frenzy is driving her to the brink.

Her parents fight, but all parents do,
a shout, yell isn't considered out of the blue.
Tears are dried as quickly as they come.
Friends are made fast, and like family they become.

You'd never known a heart so full of loneliness,
living everyday like she thinks she's worthless.
The words they say cut her inside
at home, then school - there's nowhere to hide.

One by one age tears her family apart,
each of its members take a piece of her heart.
Now the tears keep coming before they can dry.
A cut, a slice - numb the pain and she won't have to cry.

You'd never known a heart so full of cracks and spaces
weighed down from all the challenges she faces.
Drama presses in and plans go awry.
She cries herself to sleep every single night.

Her parents fight all the time now, but she doesn't see it.
She's too caught up in her problems to think that maybe they've split.
Another cut, another slice
and suddenly heaven seems quite nice.

You'd never known a heart so lifeless.
Gone is the girl, a life so priceless.
Parents and friends clutch at her stone-cold hand.
They all just want to understand.

Everyone asks the same question - "Why?"
But this girl had only a free will to die.
Tears still stain her fragile face,
never again will she run with such grace.

You'd never known a heart so haunting,
those glassy eyes so empty and taunting.
Her parents don't hide a guilty glance,
they only want a second chance.

Everyone mourns - even the sky cries.
Why couldn't they see that she had wanted to die?
"God, please save me," were her very last words.
Her trapped soul is now as free as a bird.

I'm so sorry if that sucked. I based it off of me, as I am having a really hard time. I hope you like it. It would really mean a ton to me if you reviewed. I have an account on under the same name if anyone is interested enough to check it out. Thanks guys!
