Reaching out I try to free myself,

Though in your grasp I must stay

I struggle and strategize

To try to get away

Your hands are strong,

I don't think I can break

Your grip, your hold

Though much is at stake

I scream out for help,

And no one answers me,

Though I'm suffocated by voices,

Of people I can't see

I don't understand this,

My head is hurting and sore

I guess I must just sit and wait

To see what you have in store

Reaching out I try to free myself,

As my mind works on a way

To breach this stronghold – to fly

And leave my nightmare at the dawn of day.
