A Happy Girl's Mask

A smile is not true to its word

It can hide much pain

It speaks words unheard

Yet it reappears quite plain

Laughter acts as a mask

It hides deeper cuts

It has a spate task

For it does not show one going nuts

Happiness is an alias

It hides wounds beyond repair

It contains such grief, yes

Yes, no one's pains can compare

The woes and worries I obtain

Shall now and forevermore remain
