Don't Scratch

Don't scratch, don't scratch your nails away

The blood will drip and paint so prettily,

the carpet a wine red

I'd hate to see that happen

It itches me so, so, so

don't scratch your door

It won't open, never open

I closed it well, you precious bird

In a cage you are, my cage

So carefully prepared for your arrival

I handpicked the shackles,

the iron so finely crafted

I picked out the camera,

the red eye ever so watchful

You will thank me in time

for what I did, but never dirty

what thankful deed I did

by dripping your desperate escape

like a splatter painting over the floor

AN: My first ever attempt at... this, whatever this may be. Please review, it would be very helpful.
