pens & swords: questions - 9/3

my sister, you say,
fucks nobody

that's his name—
nobody—break it
into pieces & negate

the body (no body)

without a body, a man
cannot penetrate

a woman (right?)

but you're staring at me
confusion rippling

across your lips

a gear shift away
when you say it:

slut. she's a slut

& shaking, i realize you terrify
me. not because of your penis

nor any threat of penetration

(vaginas expand, don't they?)
but your words, sir.
your words.

author's note: this poem is two parts. the second part will better frame the first part. but the first part needed to go first, without the context of the second. thank you for the continued support.
