In the words of Madea, God has placed three types of people in our lives: leaves, branches, and roots.

The leaves grow quickly and look promising, but also wither quickly. We must let them come and go.

Branches stay and become more strongly attached. They produce fruit and are quite beneficial to you, the tree. But like the leaves, they eventually die and break off.

Now roots. They're special. Roots don't come and go. They stay till the end. If you go down, they go with you. Roots support you and help you grow to your fullest potential, even at their expense. While there may be numerous leaves and branches, roots are rare, but they sure are great.
