Lady in Gray
I lived so long to this day.
The day I will ride the mighty steed
With the Lady dressed in Gray.
I looked at my clock,
Time is nearing,
Any moment will she knock.
It was dark when I heard the rap of her fist.
I opened the door
And was greeted by a frigid kiss.
Saddling myself on the gray steed,
The Lady climbed on from behind,
And the horse took off at an impossible speed.
In the night, we sped away,
Through stones and weeping people,
In to the ground where I now stay.
A weeping willow for my stone,
The Lady leaves me here,
And here I will rest alone.
