Heaven Bound Leashes

I picked up the screwdriver

And buckled my dreams to the backseat

A rumbling and facetious ease

Had ridden the world past the point

Of various and hellish degrees

A journey no longer held sense

Busting through that ocean pined air

Because they were gone

With no report to tell the world otherwise

And as soon as I let go

My world will be tumbling down

Falling back into order

The ground would shake

And I would hover

Barely grasping any sound

To tell them simply

That I was okay
