Scarlet red, blood rivers flow.

The agony of a tortured soul.

.

Flames that scorch a guilty conscience.

.

Acts of passion, love or contempt,

.

Swallowed in a pit of regret.

.

The mind dwells on things of darkness,

.

The body fueled by emotions unseen.

.

As silence drowns out another one's scream…

.

And so he fades to breathe no more,

.

The river runs dry, and they fear no more.
