Kye sat on the backyard bench next to the lake, under the shade of a big, tall tree. His worries flowed all around, and lately, he could not focus on himself, he had a bigger issue to deal with, he thought. The love of his life was at the brink of death, and so was his soulless self. His best friend, and the boy he loved the most, had decided to go study abroad. When Jeeno first told Kye about this, Kye took it a bit harsh, but Jeeno could not understand why it meant such a big deal to him. Kye looked down to the floor, and a shining tear dropped. He slowly looked up, but not up to Jeeno, instead, he turned his head to a side, avoiding having his eyes read.
"Kye... what's wrong?" - He asked in a soft voice.
Kye stood there in silence. He was fighting the strong urge to run away in tears. Jeeno grabbed Kye by the arm, pushed him against his body and gave him a strong hug.
"You've always been like this Kye... but now I need you to tell me what's on your mind, please... "
Kye was a very emotional boy, even though he portrayed as a strong and careless. Jeeno had always known how to get to him, Jeeno could always see into Kye's eyes, and even though they were friends, they both thought of each other as not just any type of friend.
Kye always kept his feelings for himself, as he thought emotions were a weakness. He wouldn't want anyone to know that beyond his strong and cold appearance, he was, in reality, so weak.
On the other hand, Jeeno did not carry such strong emotions, he was concerned about other things. He was focused on his future.
Kye looked into his eyes, while Jeeno was still holding tightly his arms.
"I don't want you to go..."
"I don't want you to leave me here like everyone else..."
Jeeno hugged Kye strongly, staring into the nothingness he felt. Yet, he was moved by the fact that Kye was in so much pain.
"Sometimes people have to make really hard choices, this is something I have to do for myself, I'm sorry, Kye."
Kye burst into tears holding him so tightly.
"Don't... please..." - he begged Jeeno.
All the tearing wouldn't let Kye appreciate that last moment with Jeeno under the bright sunset.
"Don't be sad, we will meet again someday." - He whispered into Kye's ear.
Kye felt more tickles than anything, and abruptly moved his head, letting a small smile come out. However, he kept looking down, and Jeeno could tell he was too deep in his own thoughts.
Slowly, he grabbed Kye's chin, moving it up to his face and gently pressed his lips against Kye's. He pulled Kye closer to him, and Kye got comfortable in his chest.
As time passed, it slowly got darker, until only the moon's fragile reflection illuminated. It was kiss after kiss, with sudden stops and bitings. Jeeno unbuttoned Kye's shirt, and rubbed his right hand on his chest, carefully examining the boy's body. The feeling of the soft hand exited Kye a little, especially as he approached a more sensitive area. Jeeno's head raised from the ground to taste the boy, running his tongue as low as he could go. Kye looked down to him with slightly teary eyes, he seemed much more calm now.
"After this, will you be gone?" -asked Kye in the saddest tone.
"I'm really sorry, Kye..."
They kissed once again, this time, Kye couldn't hold it in, and a small drop from his eye ran along his face, to meet both of their lips. Jeeno held the boy's head, occasionally pulling his hair.
Kye got a little more excited by this and, despite his emotions, he decided to enjoy it for a last time.
Each second passed, and they grew closer to each other. They were both lost within themselves, and regardless of what may come next, if they will ever get back together or not, they would never forget each other. After all those years of friendship, love and affection, after all the hurt and suffering... maybe sometime, sometime in the future, their paths would meet again, and maybe then they will be happy together, something they both deserve.
The next morning Jeeno grabbed his things and left.
"I will come back for you, just wait a little." - He left a note.
