Author's Note: Hi everyone, we are back. We hope you our revisions. Any comments and criticism are great.
How are you, and how's the weather in Virginia? I miss you so much; I also can't believe you actually left me. Omg, I sound like a mother now don't I? I know we talk on the phone and text all the time, but writing letters will be a fun! It'll be a great memory to look at when we grow old! We can actually tell our grand-kids that we wrote letters to each like in the ancient day! Oh my god, imagine us growing old... that would be a interesting thing to see.
Haha. Take tons of pictures for me 'Kay? California isn't lonely without you but it's still sunny. Oh, I haven't told my parents yet. I don't them to freak out. Ughhh.
Just think on coming back soon to visit okay? I love you Ani, be safe.
P.S. Don't get in trouble and do NOT party too much. Say "Hi" to your boyfriend for me.
I folded the letter carefully and slipped it in an envelope. Slowly setting the letter on my desk, I fell onto my bed. She's actually gone. Annie and her boyfriend, Michael, left to Virginia to college a month ago. I cant believe she really left with her boyfriend. I thought to myself How many weeks has it been since she left? I looked at the picture we took together in Kindergarten. We were smiling happily, arm locked together. I stood up as a sudden knock came near the door.
"Yes?" I called out.
Sali walked in, carrying her cuddly pillow staring at me with sleepy eyes. I came to her and hug her tightly.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I saw your light; I wanted to know if you were asleep." Sali answered, "Are you okay?"
I smiled and nodded my head, taking Sali out of my room and headed to hers. Gently, I settled her into her frilly and fluffy bed and kissed her forehead.
"Go to bed, I'm gonna sleep soon. Goodnight."
