Just a vent-poem I wrote for my Advanced Creative Writing class last year. Nothing eloquent or life-altering, just complaining about dumb high school stuff.

The Hallways Are Crowded

The hallways are crowded,

filled with preoccupied teens.

They are uncomfortably wam

and the sticky flesh or

rock-hard packs of the other students

touch or SLAM you.

They are cLaUsTrOpHoBiC,

with the mass of bodies and

cold, metal lockers closing in.

No one obeys courteous traffic laws,

some groups stopping

in the _ middle _ to talk

And many pushing

The hallways are crowded

and I wish it was all gone.

Hope you enjoyed.
