"Seth, my man." A familiar voice said.
"Is that who I think it is?" Jen asked.
"It's Jonh!" Jen smiled.
"Did I hear someone say my name?" John asked.
Seth stepped in the house along with Jen.
Jen couldn't believe that Jonh, Korey and Lori were here. Man she was happy. "Hey, gus! I'm like your biggest fan!"
"We get that a lot. What's your name?" Koery asked.
"I'm Jennifer Ledger, but you can call me Jen."
"Nice to meet you." John said.
"Cool name." Lori said.
"Seth, why did you come find me?" Jen asked.
"Well God told me to go to the place where you were."
"It looks like you ran away from home." Korey said.
"Yes, I am. My house isn't a good place and I have nowhere to go." Jen sighed.
"You can stay here." John suggested.
"Not to be rude or anything. Why are you running away?" Korey asked.
"My parents hate me, and I cut myself, I had to get out." Jen teared up.
"You should here a song." Jonh said.
"You're going to play me a song?"
"Yup, okay everyone get your interments out we're gonna play The Last Night!" John said with a smile.
Korey got her keyboard, Seth got his guitar and Lori got some drums.
"You come to me with scars on your wrist
You tell me this will be the last night feeling like this". John sang.
"I just came to say goodbye
Didn't want you to see me cry, I'm fine." Korey sang.
"But I know it's a lie This is the last night you'll spend alone Look me in the eyes so I know you know I'm everywhere you want me to be The last night you'll spend alone I'll wrap you in my arms and I won't let go
I'm everything you need me to be." John sang.
The went on and on it made Jen tear up, but it helped her feel a bit better, she sang alone with them. The band heard her beautiful voice.
Once the song ended John tought of something. "Do you like to sing?"
"Yes, why?" She asked.
"Well Lori doesn't like to, we are making a new album called Rise and I thought you might want to help out."
"You want me to sing?! But I can't I'm not in your band." Jen said.
"Can you play drums?" Lori asked.
"Yeah, but why do you need me?" Jen asked.
"Well Lori is leaving." John said.
"I know how to play your songs." Jen said.
"Really?" Korey said in shock.
"Yeah, I have a music book, and I play all the time and I know them by heart." Jen smiled.
"That's great!" John smiled.
"I better be going, today is my last day." Lori said.
Everyone said their goodbyes to Lori and then she left.
"Jen sing to us." John said.
"This is the last night you'll spend alone look me in the eyes so I know you know I'm everywhere you want me to be. The last night you'll spend alone I'll wrap you in my arms and I in my arms and I won't let go I'm everything you need me to be." She sang.
The band was shocked of how beautiful her voice was.
"I like your voice." Korey said.
"Thanks." Jen smiled.
"I'll send Scotty a text to let him know we have a new drummer." John said as he had his phone in his hand.
"You'll like playing in the band, it's fun." Seth said.
"I can't wait!" Jen smiled.
"We will start playing tomorrow." John said.
"Jesus loves you." Korey said.
"Yeah, I've ran away from God and I want to be back with him." Jen said.
"We will help you." Seth said.
"Thanks guys!" Jen smiled.
"Kor and I should be getting home." John said.
"I thought you guys came over to play the new record." Seth said.
"God called us to be here, and He told us to bring our interments. We didn't get why we had to but we did and now we know why, and I glad we did!" Korey said.
"Thanks for coming." Seth said.
John and Korey said their goodbyes and left.
"I'm going to make dinner. " Seth said.
"Okay, need any help?" Jen asked.
"No, you can relax and watch some TV." Seth suggested.
Jen sat down on the couch and watched some TV.
