A/N: Poem I wrote years ago and recently found. Allegory on toxic relationships. Hope you like.

You. Me. We.

.

I want to be you.

I want to wear your skin.

Every breath you lose will be my gain.

Do not fear me.

I am merely jealous, a pathetic emotion with a power so great it could kill a person.

And it will.

It will.

.

I am you.

I wear your skin.

Every breath you inhale, I exhale.

Fear me.

My mental stability is so off kilter it could kill a person.

And it will.

It will.

.

I have escaped you.

I am free of your skin.

Every breath I take is a sigh of relief.

I am not fearful.

I am me again, a wonderful notion so grand I could die.

But I won't.

I won't.

Hope you enjoyed.
