All of the lying hurts.

The fighting, the hatred.

It hurts not to be me,

I am who they want,

What they think and

Who they are.

The chains burned

With oppression and selfishness.

Society and self-image clawing your skin.

Your wishes and dreams crushed.

But one wish remains, to torment

You with its possibilities.

To break the chains and fly,

Flutter your wings and fly to freedom.

Over the walls of society's rules.

Away from greed and self-love,

To where you can be yourself

Without the judging glares on your back.
