I may fear the night,

but I don't fear her eyes,

tho brown as night,

they shine with a light

that blinds even angels.

I may fear drowning,

but I don't fear hers eyes

they're so deep and wide

that I can drowning in them.

I may fear darkness,

but I don't fear her eyes

they have a colour so rich,

so warm of a pitch

that my heart stops each time.

I may fear falling,

but I don't fear her eyes

they make me fall each time,

without reason, nor rhyme,

back in love with her.
