Today started like any other day. Sleep, followed by consciousness and eventual reaction. That can describe just about any day, right? Going through the motions was one thing, what happened today...this is way past going through the motions.

I stand over the dead body of my fellow classmate, Ben Hartford. His body lie before me, and the rest of the students who have gathered around. Today wasn't supposed to end up like this. It was supposed to be just like any other day.

This park rests out on the bay of the Floridian coasts, and is connected to the mainland by several pipes and metal connectors.


That was when things started to go wrong. This had been such a normal day until we'd disconnected from the mainland.

We've been ejected.

This isn't the time for that, though. We have a body on our hands.
