So, this is the other work I submitted to that literary magazine that I mentioned in The Unknown. I'm more confident in this one making it through, especially because my friends read it and made me submit it last second... Seriously, tomorrow is the last day the teachers will take submissions... So, that's two! Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this~!

If I wrote a letter to you,

Would you open it?

Or would you throw it away

At the first sight of my name?

If I wrote a letter to you,

And you opened it,

Would you read it?

Or would you doubt my words,

And put the letter back in the envelope?

If I wrote a letter to you,

And you opened it,

And you read it,

Would you write back?

Or would you let it depart from your mind,

Just waiting to be forgotten?

If I wrote a letter to you,

And you opened it,

And you read it,

And you wrote back,

Would you send off your letter?

Or would you just keep it,

Leaving it to live on your desk?

If I wrote a letter to you,

And you opened it,

And you read it,

And you wrote back,

And you sent your letter off...

Whenever I got your letter,

I'd open it,

And read it,

And write back,

And send my letter off,

So you could get it,

And start the process over again.

Letters go round and round,

From me to you,

And back again.

Yes...

Letters-not just ours...

Letters go round and round.

So, if I wrote a letter to you,

You'd write a letter back,

Wouldn't you?
