p style="margin: 20px 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Trebuchet, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;"My heavy dark eyes flutter open to the sound of cars driving by. I pushed my small cold body off of the ground and force myself to stand. "Where am I?" I mutter, rubbing my eyes with the back of my sleeve. I am standing in a dark alleyway leading to a busy street. Buildings tower around me and two girls around the same age as me are passed out on the ground opposite where I slept./p
p style="margin: 20px 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Trebuchet, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;"Memories from the night before flood back. A man older then my father had taken us back to his house. He asked us questions about ourselves, what we liked, what we were allergic to and about our lives in general. My best friend Lana is still at his house. He had sorted through us like old clothing and dumped girls that he didn't want after drugging us./p
p style="margin: 20px 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Trebuchet, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;""Lana must be in danger." I mumble, thinking out load to myself and walking out onto the street before me. I have no idea where I am but I will find her. Before its too late. /p
p style="margin: 20px 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Trebuchet, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;" /p
p style="margin: 20px 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Trebuchet, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;"After he had sorted through all of the girls he had taken last night, including myself, only I and two other girls remain. We are standing in a red room, chains hanging from the walls and beds and other strange things fill the room. I am terrified. I look up at the other girls for any signs of abuse, but they both just look like me, afraid and shocked. My best friend Sage was taken last night, I don't know where too but my gut tells me she's still alive. /p
p style="margin: 20px 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Trebuchet, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;"One of the girls starts to cry frantically, her light brown hair cascading from her head and it shakes as she sobs. I walk over to her sitting her down on the bed as I wrap my arms around her. "Its ok, hey its ok, look at me. Whats your name?" I ask, trying to calm the terrified girl. "G-race." She sobs, hiccuping between syllables. /p
p style="margin: 20px 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Trebuchet, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;""My name is Lana." I say, calmly rubbing her shaking back. "H-hi La-na." She stutters. "Now, Grace, I want you to take deep breaths. Can you do that?" I ask forcing her to look at me. She slows her erratic breathing down to a normal Pace. "Good girl, are you ok now?" I ask, hoping that she says yes. I am usually the calm one, Sage is the one who freaks out and gets all dramatic, but right now I could do with a full on meltdown./p
p style="margin: 20px 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Trebuchet, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;"But no I have to be calm for these girls, they need someone stable to look after them. "Yes." She mutters. I stand up and walk closer to the door, inspecting it for locks or a way to open it, and hopefully escape. "Thanks." Grace says her blue eyes looking into my light green eyes."Its ok." I smile, glancing quickly at the other girl sitting on the sofa. /p
p style="margin: 20px 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Trebuchet, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;""Are you ok?" I ask, she looks up at me, her long straight black hair covering one of her brown eyes. "Fine." She mumbles, averting her eyes from my own. She is tall and pale, a large difference to my short and tanned self. Grace is tiny and thin, her lightly freckled skin a shade or two paler than my own. /p
p style="margin: 20px 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Trebuchet, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;"We are all different, which is strange. Why would that guy want us all completely different? We all have different colour eyes, hair and frames. My blonde hair is cut fairly short, but the other girls hair flows down to the middle of her back, and Graces light brown hair is middle length and wavy. /p
p style="margin: 20px 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Trebuchet, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;"Before I pull the door its pushed open, sending me flying on to the floor. He stands at the door his grey eyes dark, and a smile playing at his lips. "Trying to escape Princess?" He asks, pulling me off of the ground and into his arms. I struggle against him, but his grip is too strong. /p
p style="margin: 20px 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Trebuchet, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;""I wouldn't bother." He says, pushing me down onto the bed and walking over to Grace, "Oh Baby, I don't cry." He sighs as he lightly strokes her skin, making me shudder. Then he walks to the other girl pushing a strand of her long black hair behind her ear. She flashes a startled expression, then as soon as it came its gone, covered over with a look of hate. /p
p style="margin: 20px 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Trebuchet, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;""Oh my sweet Dark goddess, don't look at me like that." He coos, she turns and spits in his face. The whole of his face turns dark, as the spit slides down to his chin. He wipes it off, flinging it onto the floor then he smiles. "I forgive you, I know you love me really." He sighs. He is obviously delusional. "You will have to make it up to me later though." He smirks turning to glance at her. /p
p style="margin: 20px 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Trebuchet, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;"He walks closer to the door, he stops right next to me, grabbing me again. "Princess." He whispers. "I wouldn't try that again if I were you." He growls right into my ear. Then pushing me forward. "Goodnight my darlings. I will come to visit you again tomorrow." He says, his menacing eyes gleaming as he looks over each of us. "Sweet dreams."/p
p style="margin: 20px 0px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, Trebuchet, sans-serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: justify;"When i'm certain he's gone, I look over at the girls. "Are you ok?" I ask, looking at both of them. "I think so." Grace mutters. The other girl just huffs, crossing her arms and sitting back down onto the sofa. This is going to get dangerous soon, I could feel it. But I won't give in, I'll escape here and I'll find Sage, and i'll save her from whatever danger I know she must be in./p
