Valor is as red as the warm blood

Found on the sword of a warrior,

Who has just made a kill of a foe,

That threatened the peace of his people.

Valor is the courage to take the actions

In support of one's convictions and conscience;

Even in the face of a terrible threat,

Physical, mental or spiritual;

Bravery and blood in the face of a challenge

Brings out the sweet smell and color of cherryade,

But cowardice means one cannot know his limits,

And the stench of fear smells like the vulture's feast.
