The absence of a smile means something is amiss, right?

If someone smiles, she is "okay", right?

Wrong.

It is easy to fake a smile, easier to pretend that everything is okay because otherwise others will poke and prod into her life.

Sometimes, one does not want to be "helped".

She is not necessarily rejecting salvation because she enjoys being sad.

She is aware of the light which seeks to "fix" her.

She rejects it because it is unneeded.

She is "okay".

She is not sad, not angry, not happy.

She is "okay".

Do not assume that someone who is smiling is "okay", and do not assume that someone who is not smiling is not "okay", that she needs to be saved.

Not everyone needs to be saved.

Not everyone needs to smile constantly.

Not everyone needs to be "happy" all of the time.

Sometimes, people are "okay", and that is enough.
