Deep Sky Fishing

Let us go fishing

In the deep, deep sky,

Where the clouds don't go

And the birds don't fly.

Past the furthest of planets,

Beyond an alien sun,

We will drop anchor

On a mission for fun.

We'll put stars on our hooks

And use them for bait,

Then toss them up

In the sky as we wait.

If a planet or two start to orbit out boat,

We'll light up their sky

And keep them afloat.

At the end of the night,

We'll sail a goodbye

To the joy and the wonder

Of the deep, deep sky.
